This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 01.04.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for appointment as hereditary trustee of the Waqf as per the modified scheme vide proceedings in Che.Mu.Aanai.10996/03/A5/Trichy, dated 08/08/2022.

2. Heard Mr.I.Abdul Basith, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.Mohammed Fayaz Ali, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court including the modified scheme, there shall be a direction to the respondents to deal with the representation made by the petitioner dated 01.04.2025 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
