ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to act upon the on-line application submitted by the petitioner on 12.02.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for survey of the subject property and for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner. 2.

Heard Mr.M.Elumalai, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 3. 3.

The petitioner is placing reliance upon the gift cum settlement deed dated 12.02.2025 which was registered as document No.549 of 2025. The petitioner submitted an application seeking for survey of the subject property

and for issuance of patta. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to act upon the on-line application submitted by the petitioner on 12.02.2025 and take a decision with respect to the survey of the property and for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
