Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal in the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2017 within a time frame for sub-division of land in Site No.32, bearing S.No.120/1, Ward No.L, Block No.7, New Town Survey No.3/9, Parapalayam, Tiruppur Village, Tiruppur District.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2017, the respondent has not sub-divided the land yet.

4.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2017 for sub-division and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
