This revision seeks a direction to the Rent Controller, XII Small Causes Court, Chennai, to dispose of M.P.No.176 of 2015 in R.C.O.P.No.367 of 2026 within a stipulated time.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is a tenant, had moved the Rent Controller seeking restoration of electricity connection since owing to difference between the petitioner and the respondent/landlord, the electricity connection has been disrupted. In moving such application, by mistake, an additional prayer for payment of fair rent also came to be mentioned. On the Rent Controller informing that an application for amendment is necessary, the same has been moved. Such application for amendment as also application seeking restoration of electricity connection by way of interim relief is long pending.

4. Considering the said submissions, this Court directs the learned Rent Controller, XII Small Causes Court, Chennai, to dispose of M.P.No.176 of 2015 in R.C.O.P.No.367 of 2026 within a week from the date of receipt of this order. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
