Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to forthwith consider the application of the petitioner for renewal of permit in respect of the petitioner's stage carriage PY-01/CJ-5649 plying on the inter-state route "Puducherry to Villupuram" for a period of five years from 20.09.2020 to 19.09.2025.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the present Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the application of the petitioner for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

renewal of permit in respect of petitioner's stage carriage. Pending disposal of the Writ Petition, the application of the petitioner was considered and order was passed by the 1st respondent vide proceedings dated 16.11.2020 and therefore, nothing survives in the present Writ Petition. 2.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
