quash FIR in Crime No.1 of 2025 on the file of the Assistant Commissioner of Police (CCB)-II, City Crime Branch, Coimbatore City, in the interest of justice.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash FIR in Crime No.1 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the second respondent, who is the defacto complainant appeared in person and they wants to settle the matter.

The second respondent/defacto complainant made an 2/4

endorsement stating that he do not want investigation to be conducted further in this FIR.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the endorsement made by the second respondent/defacto complainant, the case in Cr.No.01 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent is hereby quashed.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
