ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction, to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that based on a false complaint given by the 4th respondent, the respondent police is harassing the petitioner for payment of amount said to have been borrowed from the 4th respondent. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit one K.Suresh Kumar, 4th respondent herein, has lodged a complaint against the petitioner before the respondent police stating that he had borrowed a total sum of Rs.1,60,00,000/-(Rupees One Crore Sixty Lakhs) from him. When he demanded repayment, the petitioner refused, further threatened him. Hence, the petitioner was called for enquiry. But, without appearing for enquiry, the petitioner has come forward with this petition.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing on behalf of the respondents.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is ready to appear before the 3rd respondent on 11.08.2021 at 11.00 a.m.

6. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
