Respondent Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 15.03.2017 followed by a reminder dated 13.06.2017 collectively addressed by the petitioners seeking consideration of the benefits of pay scale as per proceedings of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies made in Rc.No.92088/2008/SF3 dated 21.08.2008, on merits and within a time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER

The petitioners have come to this Court seeking a mandamus to the respondent to pass orders on their representation dated 15.3.2017, followed by a reminder dated 13.6.2017, collectively addressed by them seeking consideration of the benefit of pay scale, as per proceedings of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies made in Rc.No.92088/2008/SF3 dated 21.08.2008, on merits.

3. This Court, while considering a similar prayer, has passed an order on 26.10.2017 in W.P.Nos.27475 and 27476 of 2017 [V.Saravanakumar and another v. Registrar of Cooperative https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Societies (Housing), Chennai] directing the respondent to consider the representation on merits. In view thereof, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the pending representation of the petitioners on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, in the light of the proceedings of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies dated 21.8.2008, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
