ORDER
This petition has been filed to grant extension of time by a period of six(6) months to the petitioner and his family to vacate and surrender vacant possession of the premises at Plot No.4/8, Kapaleeswarar Nagar, South IV Main Road, Neelankarai Village, formerly Tambaram Taluk, now Sholinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court vide order dated 21.10.2024 in C.R.P.No.4023 of 2024 has directed the petitioner to vacate the premises on or before 30.04.2025. He would further submit that the petitioner's wife has been suffering from respiratory failure and she is still taking treatment. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking for extension of further six(6) months time to vacate the premises.
3. Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that six(6) months time is very longer and this Court already taking into consideration
the undertaking affidavit filed by the petitioner had granted time till 30.04.2025.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, time already granted by this Court to vacate the premises is extended by 31.07.2025. The petitioner is directed to vacate and handover the premises on or before 31.07.2025. It is made clear that no further extension of time will be granted to vacate the premises.
5.Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
