This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the 1st petitioner in para 7(b) that he shall report before the respondent police on every Tuesday and Saturday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of six weeks and thereafter as and when required in the above Crl.O.P.No.1567 of 2023 dated 25.01.2023.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that when the petitioner appeared before the respondent police, the enquiring officer i.e. the Sub-Inspector of Police threatening him to admit the offence and also compelling him to pay the amount as he directs and furthermore, he had written false intimation letter to his employer, due to which, he was removed from service. He would also submit that he is ready to cooperate for interrogation, but the concerned officer did not allow him to comply the condition of this court and he is threatening that he would cancel the 1/3
bail order by giving false information before the trial court. Hence, he has filed this petition to modify the condition.
3. Considering the above submission, the condition to report before the respondent police is modified to that effect that the petitioner shall report before the Town Police Station, Cuddalore on every Tuesday and Sunday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of six weeks and thereafter, he shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation.
4. Except the above modification, the other conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P. No. 1567 of 2023 vide order dated 25.01.2023 shall remain unalterted.
5. Time is extended for further period of two weeks for execution of sureties from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 22.06.2023 rpp 2/3
