O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 26.10.2024, and consequently, to direct the third respondent to produce the CCTV footage of their office recorded on 14.10.2024 from 12.00 PM till midnight of the same day.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that the CCTV footage is retained only for a period of one month due to memory limitations, and thereafter, it is automatically deleted. Therefore, the petitioner's representation cannot be acted upon.
4. Considering the submissions made on both sides, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has sought CCTV footage dated 14.10.2024 from 12.00 PM till midnight. However, due to the memory limitations of the system, such footage is no longer available. As a result, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted.
