This Writ Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members. 2/4

The petitioner seeks police protection on the ground that the respondents 5 and 6 are threatening the petitioner to sell the property for a lesser value.

At the outset, such a general direction cannot be issued. If at all the petitioner has any specific instance with regard to the criminal action, it is open to the petitioner to give a police complaint. On such complaint, the police shall enquire and act as per law.
