PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the detention order passed by the second respondent in his proceedings bearing No.499/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 14.05.2024 under Tamilnadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goonda, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Naud Act 14) and quash the same and direct the respondent to produce the detenue, Munusamy, son of Marimuthu, now confined at Central Puzhal Prison, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.
