O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to give suitable police protection to the petitioner's land situated in Survey Nos.72/2B2 and 74/2, Eallapudaiyampatti Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District.

2. Heard both sides.

Since, the petitioner has already filed a suit in O.S.N.8 of 2014 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Harur, Dharmapuri District, seeking for declaration of the title and permanent injunction in connection with the subject property (Survey Nos.72/2B2 and 74/2, Eallapudaiyampatti Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District), it would not be appropriate to direct the police to extend the protection to the petitioner and his property, till the finality is arrived in the Civil Suit. If at all the petitioner feels that there is a threat from the fourth respondent herein, it is always open to the petitioner to approach the Civil Court seeking for such relief.

4. With these observations, the criminal original petition stands closed.
