Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or any other writ calling for the records issued by the respondent dated 27.03.2004 in Na.Ka.No.2440/2004/A2, and quash the same.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the writ petition is challenging the order dated 27.03.2004 and the impugned order is one preventing the writ petitioner from placing any sign board are hoardings in private places.

2. The order passed by the respondent dated 27.03.2004, which was issued based on the direction issued by the Election Commission of India and therefore, the merit and the de-merit of the impugned order need not be considered at this point of time, more specifically after a lapse of 13 years from the date of filing of this writ petition.

3. In view of this no further consideration is required in this Writ Petition and accordingly the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
