Mr.P.Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioners seek for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2017 and consequently to survey of the petitioner's land in Item a) measuring 0.22 cents land, i.e. out of which, total measurement 1 acre 53 cents in Survey No.196/1 (Avadi Land Measuring Register Ward No. F Block No.19 T.S.No.4/1) Old Patta No.132, New Patta No.363 and another vacant land, measuring 0.25 cents land in Survey No.197/2A & 2C (Avadi Land Measuring Register Ward No. F Block No.19, T.S.No.5/2 & 2) Old Patta No.129, New Patta No. 364 and Item b) measuring 0.11 cents land i.e. out of which, total measuring 1 acre 53 cents in Survey No.196/1 (Avadi Land Measuring Register Ward No. F Block No.19 T.S.No.4/1) Patta No.363 and another vacant land, measuring 0.21, out of which, 4 Acre 72 cents land in Survey No.197/2A (Avadi Land measuring Register Ward No. F Block No.19, T.S.No.5/2) Patta No. 364, all the properties are situated at No.23 Sorancherry "B" Madura Sekkadu Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur District.
4. The grievance of the petitioners before this Court, is that the said request has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.09.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any.
