Mr.Rajesh Vivekanandan, learned counsel appearing for R1/the Executive Officer for the Aravan Temple, Singanallur, states that nothing survives in this writ petition as the petitioner has passed away. In any event, there is no appearance for the petitioner today. 2.The prayer is for a mandamus directing R1 to consider and dispose his representation dated 23.10.2016 and relates to a festival that was imminent at that time. Thus, and for the reasons set out above, nothing further survives in this writ petition as on date.
