This writ petition has been filed for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioners on 27.01.2025, wherein the petitioners have sought for conducting survey in the subject property. 2/4

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. The petitioners are placing reliance upon the sale deed dated 04.01.2024. The petitioners are also placing reliance upon the patta that was issued in the name of the petitioners in Patta No.663. The petitioners submitted an application dated 27.01.2025 by paying necessary charges for conducting the survey. Since the same was not acted upon, the petitioners made a representation dated 01.03.2025, but the same did not evoke any response. SMS message has been received as if survey was conducted but no such survey was conducted.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioners on 27.01.2025 and conduct survey in the subject property based on the title documents and the patta that is relied upon by the petitioners. This process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of a receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. 3/4
