PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned transfer order passed by the 2nd respondent 1/4
vide his proceedings No.14597/D3/2023-1 dated 18.04.2023 and the consequential relieving order passed by the 3rd respondent vide University Order No.169/2023 (C1) dated 24.04.2023 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to work in Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Cuddalore District or in any other Government Departments in and around Chidambaram, Chidambaram District, on humanitarian and medical grounds. ORDER
With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. Pursuant to the impugned order of transfer dated 18.04.2023, the petitioner had joined Dr.Dharambal Government Polytechnic College for Women, Chennai. Thus, the order of transfer has now become infructuous.

3. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had given a representation to the respondents seeking for re-transfer to the University or to some other nearby place.
4. Thus, this Court is of the view that if the respondents are directed to consider the representation within a stipulated time, the ends of justice could be secured.
5. In the light of the above, no interference is required to the impugned order. However, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2023 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
