representation dated 25.05.2024 within a reasonable time frame as fixed by this Court.

Mr.S. Sugendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to give proper direction to the 3rd respondent for police protection as per the proceeding in Na.Ka.No. 361/2024/a2 dated 16.05.2024 passed by the 2nd respondent and consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 25.05.2024.

3. According to the petitioner, there was some dispute with regard to a construction of new bell tower and other ceremony viz., Manimandapam in Arulmigu Athanur Amman Temple is located at Parakkalpudur,

Kurukkauram (A), Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District between two groups. In this regard, complaint was given by the petitioner before the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent conducted Peace Committee Meeting on 16.05.2024, wherein, it was agreed by both the parties "No construction shall be made till the next date of the Peace Committee Meeting". However, some of the trust members of the temple proceeds with construction, violating the agreement reached in the Peace Committee Meeting conducted on 16.05.2024. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the 2nd respondent dated 25.05.2024 requesting to intervene on the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, and the same has not been considered by the 2nd respondent.

Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought for in this writ petition and taking into account the submissions made on either side, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the 2nd respondent/Revenue Tahsildar to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the interested parties, preferably, within a

period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
