This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to provide suitable protection to the petitioner.

2. The petitioner's daughter Packiyalakshmi got married to Mazhai Muthu / 3rd respondent and due to their wedlock, she is having a son by name Dhanush. At present, Packiyalakshmi is working in Malaysia. While so, it is alleged that Mazhai Muthu is having illegal intimacy with another lady and that he is demanding money from the petitioner and her daughter Packiyalakshmi and threatening them.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.162 of 2018.

4. In such view of the matter, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR.No.162 of 2018, by calling Mazhai Muthu and ensure that no harm befalls the petitioner and her daughter Packiyalakshmi.
