This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, seeking a direction upon the respondents Police not to harass the petitioner.

Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.

It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is ready to co-operate with the Police enquiry. 4.

It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that, the petitioner was directed to appear for enquiry on the basis of the complaint lodged by the son-in-law of one R.Mohan, and the Police never harassed the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) and also the allegations made in the

affidavit, filed in support of this Petition, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed by directing the petitioner to appear before the respondents-Police for enquiry on receipt of summons issued by the respondents-Police and the respondents-Police are directed to conduct enquiry in accordance with law, without harassing the petitioner.
