ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and also her agricultural property bearing S.F.No.361 of Samalapuram Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District by considering the representation dated 28.04.2023. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the above mentioned property situated in S.F.No.361 is owned by her husband and they are in possession and enjoyment of the property. He further submitted that adjacent to the property owned by her, a temple belonging to HR&CE Department was situated, which was demolished by the miscreants. In continuation of the same, miscreants started with the act of harassment, which eventually lead to dumping of debris on the land, which is affixed as proof in the writ affidavit at page no. 38 of the typed-set. Therefore, fearing for her life, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 28.04.2023. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the present petition has been filed. 3.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side).

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the respondents are aware of the representation of the petitioner dated 28.04.2023 and they are taking steps to remove the debris from the property of the petitioner. He further submitted that, at least, not later than tomorrow i.e., 19.05.2023, the debris would be removed.
