Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.03.2021 to appoint the petitioner to the post of Drawing Teacher with all attendant service and monetary benefits on the date on which the non PSTM candidates were selected and appointed under the direct recruitment of Special Teachers 2012 to 2016. ORDER

By consent of the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal and is disposed of by this order. The learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking for a Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.03.2021 to appoint the petitioner to the post of Drawing Teacher with all attendant service and monetary benefits on the date on which the non PSTM candidates were selected and appointed under the direct recruitment of Special Teachers 2012 to 2016.

This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials placed before it.

Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 23.03.2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
