ORDER

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 & 3 to correct the entries with regard to petitioner and his Father name as 'Veerapathiran son of Munusamy' instead of 'Munusamy son of Veerapathiram' in respect of property bearing S.No.125/35 in respect of 0.01.0 ares of land in Patta No.70, situated at Kokilamedu Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpattu District, by considering petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2025 in accordance with law, within a time limit to be stipulated by this Court.

2.It is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents that the representation of petitioner would be considered and 2/5

orders passed within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, which was readily accepted by the learned counsel for petitioner.

3.In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to respondents 2 & 3 to consider the petitioner's representation, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons/stake holders, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondents to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
