By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to make necessary transfer in patta and revenue records in respect of petitioner's properties situated at Keelperumpallam Village, Tharangampadi Taluk, Mayiladuthurai District, comprised in Survey Nos.1/2A, 2/9A, 2/9B, 2/12A, 3/8A, 2/12A, 2/9B1, 25B/5, 3/1B1, 3/1B2, 3/2, 3/3, 34/13, 34/14B, 34/14C, 4/1A, 55/3, 55/4, 55/6A, 55/6B, 55/7, 60/27, 81/24B, 81/4A, 3/8A1, 3/8A2, 39/11C, 35/1A, 35/1C, 35/5A, 36/1, 45/1, 55/12, 56/10B, 56/11, 56/22, 67/28A & 67/28B, by considering petitioner's application dated
08.02.2025 within a time frame fixed by this court.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the properties in the above survey numbers belong to her father in law Veerabathra Mudhaliar. A Will was executed by the said Veerabathra Mudhaliar in favour of his second wife namely, Alamelu Ammal in respect of the property situated at Keelperumpallam Village, Tharangampadi Taluk, Mayiladuthurai District, comprised in Survey Nos.1/2A, 2/9A, 2/9B, 2/12A, 3/8A, 2/12A, 2/9B1, 25B/5, 3/1B1, 3/1B2, 3/2, 3/3, 34/13, 34/14B, 34/14C, 4/1A, 55/3, 55/4, 55/6A, 55/6B, 55/7, 60/27, 81/24B, 81/4A, 3/8A1, 3/8A2, 39/11C, 35/1A, 35/1C, 35/5A, 36/1, 45/1, 55/12, 56/10B, 56/11, 56/22, 67/28A & 67/28B. The petitioner's mother in law executed a Will in favour of her husband and her husband, in turn, executed a Will in favour of her.
After the demise of her husband, the Will came into force and the petitioner has been now in possession and enjoyment of the subject properties. The petitioner had taken out an application dated 08.02.2025 for mutation of the revenue records including patta in the name of the petitioner. However, the said representation has not been considered so far by the respondents.
Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that it may be necessary for the petitioner to take out an online application after paying appropriate fee. If any such application is taken up, the same would be considered and orders would be passed within the time fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, the petitioner is directed to make her application through online for mutation of revenue records along with appropriate fee and on such application, there shall be a direction to the respondents, to consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons/ including rival claimants, if any, within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the
application and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law.
