This petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that
the respondent police have completed the investigation and file a final report before the Special Court for Land Grabbing and the cognizance has not been taken.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the pending case before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the Special Court cannot take cognizance of the case and therefore, the case may be transferred to the file of the Competent Court, which can take cognizance of the final report and proceed further in accordance with law. 4.
This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to take back the final report from the Special Court for Land Grabbing and file the same before the Special Court, CCB, CBCID, Egmore. Immediately on filing of the final report, the concerned Court shall consider the same and take cognizance and proceed further in accordance with law.
