PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to direct the 3rd respondent to issue the extract of the Insurance Particulars and R.C.Book of Car No. TN63 AR 2594 Registered a case vide FIR No.613/2019 U/S 279 & 304(A) IPC dated 28.09.2019 on petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2021 immediately.

ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to direct the 3rd respondent to issue the extract of the Insurance Particulars and R.C.Book of Car No. TN63 AR 2594.

2. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is the wife of one Prakash, who met with an accident and passed away and a case in crime No.613 of 2019 for the offences under sections 279 & 304(A) IPC was registered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

by the third respondent police. For the purpose of claiming benefits under the Motor Vehicles Act, the petitioner, on the death of her husband, had been making representation to the third respondent for the issuance of copy of the Insurance particulars and R.C.Book of Ford Car bearing Registration No. TN 63 AR 2594.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that already the copy of the Insurance particulars had been handed over and the R.C.Book is also ready.

4. As per section 160 of the Motor Vehicles Act, the petitioner can make representation to the respondent police and obtain the same. Today, before this Court, the learned counsel for the petitioner was handed over with the copy of Insurance particulars and R.C.Book of the Ford Car bearing Registration No. TN 63 AR 2594.

5. Recording the same, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
