Mr.Suriya Narayanan Government Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioners are the stamp vendors. The cases have been registered against the petitioners in Crime No.25 of 2005 on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

ground that they have sold counterfeit stamp papers. The scientific investigation done reveals that the allegation made in the FIR is not true according to the petitioner. The petitioner approached this Court and the FIR registered in Crime No.25 of 2005 has been quashed in Crl.O.P.No.21479 of 2007. In the meantime, the licence of the petitioners were cancelled on 18.04.2005. Thereafter, the petitioners made representations on 17.12.2012, seeking issuance of license on the basis upon which they were cancelled and it does not survive any longer. As the said representation was not considered by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Considering the above, without going into the merits, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 17.12.2012, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, all these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
