O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the First Respondent to pass final order on the Appeal dated 01.09.2018 filed by the Petitioner in order to issue Natham house site Patta in favour of the Petitioner in respect of land in Survey No. 325/3 (Old Natham Survey No. 141/1) to an extent of 1382 sq. ft. at Aavadathur Village, Mettur Taluk. 2.The First Respondent has filed status report dated 26.06.2019 stating that after conducting enquiry, on perusing the records, it has been found that the Petitioner has constructed a pucca terraced building in the Government land and has used the ground floor for commercial purpose by installing https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

10 power looms, and as such, he cannot be considered as poor person. According to the Respondents, the land could be assigned only for residential purpose for poor persons and the Petitioner does not qualify for the same and his request for patta has been rejected by proceedings No. Moo.Moo.84/2019/A dated 24.06.2019 and a copy of the same has been produced, which has been recorded. Nothing survives for further consideration in the matter.

3.The Writ Petition is disposed recording the aforesaid subsequent developments. No costs.
