O R D E R

The landlord, in R.C.O.P.No.10 of 2014 on the file of the Principal District Munsif cum Rent Controller, Tiruvannamalai, has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Rent Controller to dispose of the

application in I.A.No.6 of 2015 filed under Section 11(4) of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act.

2.Mr.G.Jayachandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the application was filed in the year 2015, the Rent Controller has not disposed of the same yet. Further, the learned counsel submitted that in view of the long pendency of the matter, the petitioner/ landlord is put to hardship and prejudice.

3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Principal District Munsif cum Rent Controller, Tiruvannamalai, to dispose of the application in I.A.No.6 of 2015 in R.C.O.P.No.10 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
