O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the 1st respondent to register the case against the said person A.Paneer Chelvam @ A.P.Chelvam based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 15.12.2014 and take appropriate action against the said person in accordance with law within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.632 of 2014 before the 1st respondent.

4. Hence, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
