ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to give necessary direction to the second respondent to register the complaint dated 15-12-2014 alleged to have been given by the petitioner.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is not present.

It is averred in the petition that on the date of occurrence some irate mob pelted stones towards the dwelling house of the the petitioner, and thereby, caused damaged and inmates have also sustained injuries. Under the said circumstances, the complaint in question has been given. But the second respondent has not evinced any interest and therefore, the present petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein.

Considering the nature of relief sought for and also considering the allegations made in the complaint dated 15-122014, the following direction can be given to the second respondent:

"In fine, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The second respondent is directed to look into the complaint dated 15-12-2014 and if any cognizable offences are made out, further directed to take appropriate steps as per law."
