Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioners' objections dated 24.06.2009, 30.09.2011 and 31.01.2013 made to the first respondent and forbear the fourth respondent from taking any coercive steps against the petitioners property situate at Door No.275, Ramakrishnapuram, Villivakkam, Chennai-600 049, till such disposal of the petitioners' objection.

Heard M/s.Adithya Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.T.C.Gopalakrishnan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioners have filed this Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioners' objections dated 24.06.2009, 30.09.2011 and 31.01.2013 made to the first respondent and forbear the fourth respondent from taking any coercive steps against their property situate at Door No.275, Ramakrishnapuram, Villivakkam, Chennai-600 049, till such disposal of the their objection.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent Corporation submitted that the first respondent may be granted sufficient time to consider the petitioners' objection and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law.

4. Accordingly, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioners' objections dated 24.06.2009, 30.09.2011 and 31.01.2013 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Until then, no coercive action shall be initiated against the petitioners.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
