measure and fix boundaries for the land comprised in Survey No. 199/1 measuring to an extent of 00.62 hectares, in Survey No. 199/2 measuring to an extent of 0.22 hectares, in Survey No. 198/2 measuring to an extent of 0.24 hectares situated at Avur Village, Ponneri Sub Registration District, Thiruvallur District and direct the 4th respondent police to provide adequate police protection for the same and for fencing to the above said lands, within a time limit to be stipulated by this Court. This writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 to dispose of the representations of the petitioner dated 24.02.2022 and 10.06.2022 respectively. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the property in Survey Nos.199/1 2/4
measuring to an extent of 0.62 hectares land, 199/2 measuring to an extent of 0.22 hectares land and 198/2 measuring to an extent of 0.24 hectares land situated at Avur Village, Ponneri Sub Registration District, Thiruvallur District, was acquired by the petitioner's husband through partition deed No.2710 of 2001, dated 22.10.2001 on the file of Sub Registrar Office, Ponneri. Patta has also stands in the name of the petitioner's husband. After the death of her husband, the 5th respondent along with his sons are attempting to grab the aforesaid property illegally. In this regard, the petitioner sent representations to the respondents 2 and 4 to measure the aforesaid land as per partition deed. The petitioner has also paid necessary fee for the same.
However, the respondents have not taken any steps on the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2022 and 10.06.2022. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue direction to the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 24.02.2022 and 10.06.2022 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame. 4.
appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 2 to 4 respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 24.02.2022 and 10.06.2022, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
