The present petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings pending against them in P.R.C.No.18 of 2010 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchengode, Namakkal District.

2.This petition was filed in the year 2011. But, at the time admitting the petition, no order staying the proceedings was granted. Thereafter, the committal proceedings were over and S.C.No.16 of 2011 has been assigned.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that already 6 witnesses have been examined as Pws 1 to 6 and the matter is in the part-heard stage. He would further submit that now the case is posted on 08.12.2015 for further examination. 4.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, I am of the opinion that prayer sought for in the petition itself has become infructuous.
