(Order of the Court was made by J.SATHYA NARAYANA PRASAD, J.) Mr.D.B.R.Prabhu, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.K.Karthik Jegannath, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the fourth respondent.

2. This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take necessary action and remove the encroachment in Kamaraj Street, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Chennai-600 118, based upon the petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2024.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 3 - Greater Chennai Corporation submitted that the Stop Work Notice has been

issued on 14.05.2024 and a letter has been sent to the Tahsildar on 16.05.2024 to demarcate and remove the encroachment, if any. Learned Standing Counsel further submitted that further action would be taken in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 3, this Writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
