(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner alleges encroachment by one Mrs.Andal / the 4th respondent on the market street near 18th Cross Street, Venkatasamypuram, T.P.Chatram, Chennai, against which https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
representations were made on 02.02.2011 and 02.03.2011 to the respondents, but to no avail.
2.Learned counsel for the petitioner states that there is no change of position and the representations have also not been disposed of over the last six years. No counter-affidavit has been filed.
3.This is the pathetic state of affairs where the respondents have sat silent over the complaint of the petitioner doing nothing.
4.We direct the respondents to cause an inspection to be made at the site within fifteen (15) days of the receipt of the order and if any encroachment, as alleged by the petitioner or otherwise is found, to take action in accordance with law and conclude the proceedings within the maximum period of two (2) months thereafter.
