The petitioner who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 342, 366a, 370(A), 372, 373 IPA and 3(2) a, 4(1), 5(1) a, 5(1)b, 5(1)c, 6(2-A), r/w 6(1) of ITP ACt and under Section 5(l), 5(p), 6 r/w 17 of POCSO ACt, in Crime No. 16 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons indulged in trafficking of minor girls and transacted money. Further, the petitioner taken one of the victim to Hyderabad where the victim was sexually abused by unknown person in hotel and also in other places. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is wife of A2, she was falsely implicated in this case as if she also associated with her husband in trafficking of minor girls. He prays to allow this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that the petitioner was involved in trafficking of minor girls and the victim girls were sexually abused by the accused persons. Further, the statement of

victim girl was recorded wherein she stated that the petitioner and her husband taken her to Hyderabad and also other places where she was sexually abused.

5. On seeing the gravity of the offence, the petitioner was involved in immoral trafficking. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. 06.06.2024 pbl T.V.THAMILSELVI, J.
