Considering the urgency that the counselling is to take place today and on subsequent days, the learned counsel for the petitioner made a mention to take up the Writ Petition.
2. Mr.Ramaswamy Neelakandan, the learned Additional Advocate General No.VIII, would submit that insofar as the petitioners 1 to 3, 6 to 9 and 11 are concerned, they have secured requisite marks and are entitled to be called for the counselling. Insofar as the petitioners 4, 5, 10 and 12 are concerned, they have not secured the requisite marks in the examination and therefore, are not entitled to be called for counselling.
3. Consequently, W.M.P.No.15653 of 2024 stands allowed insofar as the petitioners 1 to 3, 6 to 9 and 11 are concerned and it shall stand dismissed insofar as the petitioners 4, 5, 10 and 12 are concerned. 1/3
4. The appointments, if any, that is given to the petitioners in the present W.M.P.No.15653 of 2024, will be subject to the final orders in the Writ Petition.
