Survey No.95/23 of Mathurutu Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal by cancelling the patta issued to the 3rd respondent in excess of her possession and occupation, based on the recommendations of the 2nd respondent Tahsildhar, Rasipuram made in Ci.Pa.No.460/2023/D dated 14.07.2023. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to issue patta to the petitioner by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 03.06.2024.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that she made representation before the first respondent to issue patta for her property in Survey No.95/23, measuring an extent of 0.22.0 ares, situated at Mathurutu Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal. However, the same has not been considered by the first respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 2/4

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.06.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
