Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the entire records relating to the order passed by the 6th respondent in Na. Ka. A. 85/2007 dated 10.12.2010 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to draw the actual center point median line work of proposed 60 feet Thiruvottiyur Road widening from mint and Ernavoor Chennai which runs approximately 10 kilometers long stretch in a free and fair manner in accordance with law by following the principles of natural justice without showing any discrimination in demolishing the encroachments on both sides of Thiruvottiyur High Road, by considering the representation dated 25.1.2012 of the petitioner within a time that may be fixed by this Honourable Court.

Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned.

2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had produced before this Court, a copy of the communication issued by the Assistant Divisional Engineer [H], CMDP, Sub Division-11, Chennai-18, dated 12.6.2014, and had submitted that a physical verification of the median line of Thiruvottriyur Highways, as prayed for by the petitioner, had been done by the authorities concerned, and that a copy of the said communication had also been served on the petitioner.
