ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 23.04.2024 for providing police protection for fencing the land of the petitioner family comprised in S.Nos.65(New S.No.69/1, 69/2 & 70/1) to the extent of 3.87 acres, 329 (New S.No.508/1, 508/2) to an extent of 2.97 acres and 50/1 (New S.No.55/1-13) to the extent of 3 acres, situated at Kappachi Village, Thummanatty Post, Ooty Taluk, The Nilgiris.

On perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it is revealed that the petitioner requested to provide police protection to fence his land. If there is any dispute in respect of the subject land between the petitioner and the fourth respondent herein, the petitioner has to approach the Civil Court for appropriate relief. Further, the police protection cannot be provided to fence the land.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
