ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to extend the time in Crl.O.P.No.4877 of 2020 dated 05.03.2020 for executing the sureties before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Chengalpattu. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the order copy was received by the petitioner on 17.03.2020 and before he could execute the sureties, the Courts were closed due to Covid 19. He would further submit that the petitioner is a resident of Villupuram and he was unable to get the order from his counsel. Therefore, he could not execute the sureties. Hence the earlier order had lapsed.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this petition is ordered and two weeks time is granted to the petitioner to surrender and execute the sureties as ordered by this Court, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand automatically dismissed.
