(Order of this Court was made by S.Manikumar, J.) Writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the District Collector, Villupuram, 1st respondent herein, to take immediate steps to cancel the Licence issued in favour of the 8th Respondent, Cinema Theatre namely Sri Raja Rajeswari Cinema Theatre at Salem Main Road, Chinna Salem, Villupuram District, by considering petitioner's representation dated 30.04.2019.
2. On the basis of the materials available on record and averments, Mr.V.Vijayarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner made submissions.
3. However, when attention of the learned counsel for the petitioner was invited to the averments made in the representation and when this Court observed that the details furnished do not satisfy the requirements of a Public Interest Litigation, Mr.V.Vijayarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition, with liberty to take further steps. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
4. Placing on record the above, Writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for. No Costs.
Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
