ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd and 3rd Respondents to survey and measure petitioner's property comprised in Punjai S.No.535/3B, Patta No.1618, measuring an extent of 0.14 acres (0.05.50 ares), situated at Nemili Union, Sayanapuram Panchayat, Sayanapuram Village, Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District and lay the boundary stone by pointing out field boundary line.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner purchased the above mentioned property from one S.Sundarrajan vide Sale Deed dated 23.05.2024 registered as Document 2/6

No.1203/2024 before the SRO, Nemili and ever since then, petitioner continued to in possession and enjoyment of the said property without any encumbrances.

4.It is further submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner had applied for survey and measuring on 23.08.2024 and had also paid necessary fees for the same. However, the petitioner's application was not considered by the 2nd and 3rd respondents till date, thus the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 5.Learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that they would conduct survey and measure the property and lay boundary stone of the subject property within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

6.In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to conduct survey and measure the property and lay the boundary stone, after putting the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants, if any, 3/6

on notice, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
