ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue patta pertaining to the subject land in favour of the petitioner.

2. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed a representation dated 23.03.2026 before the 3rd respondent, requesting for issuance of patta pertaining to the subject property. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the 3rd respondent till date. Hence, this petition.

5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 8 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.03.2026 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law. While considering the said representation, the 3rd respondent shall take into consideration of the order passed in WP.No.11881 of 2003 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
