Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of mandamus to direct the respondents herein to consider the petitioners representation dated 17.5.2013 for issue of patta in respect of lands measuring an extent of 6.72 acres comprised in Survey No.184 of Anniyalam Village, Dhenkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.Heard Mr.R.Bharath Kumar, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioners seek for issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider their representation dated 17.5.2013 for issue of patta in respect of lands measuring an extent of 6.72 acres comprised in Survey No.184 of Anniyalam Village, Dhenkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

4.According to the petitioners, their representation for grant of patta has not been considered and therefore they have approached this Court.

5.Counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents stating that the petitioners' representation is being considered and enquiry was ordered to ascertain the claim made by the petitioners. 6.In the light of the stand taken by the fifth respondent in the counter affidavit, there will be a direction to the fifth respondent to conclude the enquiry after hearing the petitioners and all persons concerned, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
