Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents to effect sub division and change of patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of Survey No.151/1 - 0.05 cents out of 0.50 cents situate in Aalur Village, Tirukoilur Taluk.

Basing reliance upon the judgment and decree rendered in O.S.No.24 of 1988 filed by the petitioner, which was confirmed in S.L.P.(Civil) No.6715 of 2012 dated 19.10.2012, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents seeking measurement followed by issuance of patta. As the said representation has not been disposed of, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Taking into consideration the above said facts, a direction is issued to the respondent no.2 to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation dated 19.12.2013 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this order, after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as to 3rd party, if so required. The petitioner is directed to send a copy of the representation to the respondent no.2 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
