A.No.2351 of 2022 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY, J In a proposed rolled up action for alleged trademark and design infringement, this application is filed for leave to institute the suit against the respondents before this Court.

2. The applicant asserts that the respondents are selling or distributing the infringing products on commercial scale within the jurisdiction of this Court.

3. Upon considering the said submissions and on examining the draft plaint, it appears that at least a part of the cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court. Accordingly, A.No.2351 of 2022 is allowed and the applicant is granted leave to institute the suit against the respondents before this Court.

4.As a corollary, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if otherwise in order.
